Language & Literature
This week in Language and Literature class the children learned the stories of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table and The Sword in the Stone. For next week the children will be learning about how myths have been reinvented overtime to portray messages through movies, stories, and discussions.
Individuals & Society
For this week the children have been exploring various famous individuals from Greek civilisation and how their influence has helped shape society today through their inventions, and theories. For next week the children will be learning about some of the most famous Egyptian Pharaohs and how they ruled their civilisations.
Maths
Students have been collecting data from surveys of classmates in order to practice graphing and interpreting information from sets of numbers. For the next week students will be learning to apply their data handling abilities to different types of data and various graphical representations.
Science
Science students are conducting an experiment to determine how limited resources affect the growth of plants. Students will be collecting data over the forthcoming weeks to test their respective hypothesis. Students will also be learning about the function of various cell organelles in maintaining life processes.
