Parent Notice
On the morning of Wednesday, February 3rd the school will be hosting their Global Play Day.

Language & Literature
This week in Language and Literature class the children began working on their summative assessments for Unit 3. The learners created an Ebook that is used to represent one myth or legend that they have learned about during Unit 3. They were assessed according to Criterion A: Analysing, Criterion C: Producing Text and Criterion D: Using Language. For next week, the children will be introduced to their next unit which is about the connection that people form with fictional characters in films and stories which they can then relate back to their own lives.
วิชาหลักภาษาและวรรณกรรม

Individuals & Society
For this week the children have been exploring the Roman civilisation and the impact that it has had on society ever since the collapse of the Roman Empire. For next week the children will begin learning about Mayan and Inca civilisation and how it rose to power.

Maths
Students have been practising representing data on graphs in order to build their skills in understanding and identifying relationships that can be justified from reports and studies. Students will be applying their skills towards some real-world challenges in sustainability by exploring various articles and studies on endangered species.

Science
Students are continuing to explore the structures and functions of cells as the foundation of life processes. Students have also been learning about the structures of the leaf as a collection of different types of cells and tissues. The lab focus for this week involves the process of photosynthesis, and next week will include the preparation of plant tissue for microscope slides.
