Language & Literature
This week in Language and Literature class the children will be analysing how humour sometimes plays a role in helping families cope with serious situations and health conditions. For next week, the children will be creating a collage the represents beautiful people. This activity will help the children understand that beauty is in the eye of the beholder and that all people view beauty differently.
วิชาหลักภาษาและวรรณกรรม
ในชั้นเรียนวิชาหลักภาษาและวรรณกรรมสัปดาห์นี้เด็กๆได้วิเคราะห์ว่าบางครั้งอารมณ์ขันมีบทบาทช่วยให้ครอบครัวก้าวผ่านสถานการณ์อันเลวร้ายและสภาวะของสุขภาพได้ ในสัปดาห์หน้าเด็กๆจะสร้างคอลลาจเพื่อแสดงถึงความสวยงามของมนุษย์ กิจกรรมดังกล่าวจะช่วยให้เด็กๆเข้าใจว่าความสวยงามขึ้นอยู่กับการมองของบุคคลและแต่ละคนมองความสวยงามแตกต่างกันออกไป
Individuals & Society
For this week the children will be completing a two-part summative assessment where they will display their skills in map creation and use the knowledge they have gained during this unit within their maps. The children will include the following features in their maps: scale, a compass rose, grid references and physical features such as rivers, lakes and mountains. For next week the children will be introduced to unit 5 on how people decide where they would like to settle and establish a sustainable life.
วิชามนุษยศาสตร์และสังคมศาสตร์
ในสัปดาห์นี้เด็กๆทำการประเมินสรุปผลสองส่วน ซึ่งพวกเขาจะแสดงทักษะออกมาโดยการแสดงการสร้างแผนที่และการใช้ความรู้ที่พวกเขาได้รับในหน่วยการเรียนรู้นี้ในแผนที่ของพวกเขาอีกด้วย เด็กๆจะรวมคุณสมบัติเหล่านี้ไว้บนแผนที่ของพวกเขาคือ มาตราส่วน เข็มทิศ การแสดงตาราง อีกทั้งยังแสดงคุณสมบัติทางกายภาพ เช่น แม่น้ำ ทะเลสาป และภูเขา
Maths
This week students are learning to calculate and solve algebra equations with multiplication and division. Students are also identifying the variables in word problems and applying the order of operations to 2 and 3 step equations. Real-world problems are presented that require students to calculate the combined distance and time in order to evaluate the average speed or the total time required to complete a given journey. Students will be practising their math communication, in order to present their solutions clearly.

ในสัปดาห์นี้นักเรียนได้เรียนรู้ในการคำนวณและการแก้โจทย์ปัญหาสมการโดยการคูณและการหาร นักเรียนยังต้องระบุตัวแปรในโจทย์ปัญหาสมการและประยุกต์ใช้การเรียงลำดับการคำนวณ ๒ ถึง ๓ ขั้นตอนอีกด้วย อีกทั้งยังมีการแสดงให้เห็นถึงโจทย์ปัญหาในชีวิตจริงเพื่อให้นักเรียนคำนวณระยะทางและเวลาที่รวมเข้าด้วยกันเพื่อประเมินค่าเฉลี่ยของความเร็วหรือระยะเวลาทั้งหมดที่ต้องใช้ในการเดินทาง นักเรียนจะได้ฝึกฝนการใช้ภาษาทางคณิตศาสตร์เพื่อที่จะสามารถนำเสนอได้อย่างชัดเจน
Science
In science, students will be exploring the effects of energy changes on temperature and how heat energy is released during energy transfers. They have also been completing their research on the impacts of an energy resource on people's lifestyles and the environment. Later this week, students will be investigating the variability in temperature readings from different areas of the body, and what factors might affect these differences.

ในวิชาวิทยาศาสตร์นักเรียนได้ทำการสำรวจผลกระทบของของการเปลี่ยนแปลงทางพลังงานในเรื่องอุณหภูมิและวิธีการที่พลังงานความร้อนถูกปล่อยขณะมีการส่งผ่านพลังงาน พวกเขายังได้ทำการค้นคว้าเรื่องผลกระทบของทรัพยากรพลังงานที่มีต่อวิถีชีวิตและสิ่งแวดล้อมของมนุษย์อีกด้วย หลังจากนั้นนักเรียนได้ทำการทดลองความแตกต่างของการวัดอุณหภูมิจากส่วนต่างๆของร่างกายและปัจจัยที่อาจส่งผลต่อความแตกต่างเหล่านี้
